Lake City Sportsman’s ice fishing contest nears
The Lake City Sportsman’s Club’s annual ice fishing contest is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18, just offshore from the club building at 2200 S. Oak St., Lake City, with lots to do inside the club as well.
The kids fishing contest is from 10:30 a.m. to noon on the ice. There is no entry fee.
A euchre tournament will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the clubhouse.
The main fishing contest is from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the ice. The entry fee is $5. Proof of fishing license is required.
Paddlwheel is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
