Lake market opens season

Lake City Market by the Lake opened to warm and windy conditions for its first market of the year on June 11.

Turnout was good despite a scaled-back market this year due to the pandemic.

Music, food sampling and the Power of Produce Club are on hold pending guidance from Govenor Tim Walz and the Department of Agriculture, said Susan Draves, one of the organizers.
