Tenneco layoff planned for late summer

A letter from Tenneco, formerly Federal-Mogul, to regulators offers more details on a previously-announced layoff.

The company announced last August that it would cease the production of heavy duty diesel cylinder liners by the end of this year citing business conditions. At the time it estimated that the move would reduce the number of employees by between 60 and 95.
