Administrator: Wabasha County sales tax to help fund transportation

To the editor:

At its Nov. 24 board meeting, Wabasha County commissioners voted to implement a countywide local option transportation sales and use tax to address growing transportation needs throughout the county. The tax is scheduled to take effect on April 1, 2016.
