There’s nothing a scoop of ice cream can’t fix, and we evidently do a lot of fixing as the United States is the world’s largest consumer of ice cream with the average American savoring 20 pounds or 4 gallons each year adding 13 billion dollars to the economy. Ninety percent of Americans have ice cream in their freezer. Vanilla is the most popular flavor totaling 50% of the ice cream sold, chocolate is second.
