Grateful for Nichols’ service as mayor
This note is to thank former mayor Mark Nichols for serving as the Mayor of Lake City for the previous 8 years.
Mark’s dedication to the position was very evident, during both terms, as I believe he invested an unusually high number of hours per week, not including all of the pre-scheduled Monday night Council meetings.
Like many others, I was not surprised by how often Mark’s leadership and communication skills proved to have been very valuable, especially when the council was not in agreement when considering potential big projects.
