As the legislative session begins wrapping up at the State Capitol, there’s been no shortage of conversations surrounding taxes, workforce regulations, paid leave implementation, and the overall cost of doing business in Minnesota. While these discussions happen in St. Paul, the reality is their impact reaches communities like Lake City every single day.
One thing I’ve come to appreciate in this role is that even a small community like ours has a voice — especially when we stay connected and involved.
