Letter: Barns are fleeting, change is constant
To the editor:
One by one they’re disappearing, those big red barns that used to dot the countryside.
First the paint would fade then there’d be a leak in the rounded roof. Soon the siding would give way and the whole building leaned as if it were getting tired.
One day the old barn would just give up and collapse. It seems like next time you drive by there’d be a new pole barn in its place. Practical, but not as picturesque.
