Letter: Beach rejuvenation possible, if we get off our duffs

To the editor:

The light at the end of a cold winter is the anticipation of warm sunny days at our beautiful beach.

Unfortunately control of the beach is in the hands of people who obviously view it as a nuisance, an afterthought, when it should be one of Lake City’s premier attractions.

Travel anywhere in the world and beaches are the focal point. They are crowded with people.

With proper management Lake City could once again be a major attraction, not only for swimming but all for summer activities. The key is management.
