Letter: Bell-ringers awed by generosity

To the editor:

“Ringing the Bell” for the Salvation Army here in Lake City generated a total of $2,711. Lake City has now donated over $10,000.00 in the past 5 years. Thanks to each and every one that has contributed.

The donations have been sent to the Salvation Army’s area collection point, where they will be used to assist people in Wabasha County. The bells, bucket, aprons, etc. have also been returned. Until next season.
