Letter: 'Catch-up' bill is offensive
To the editor:
Apparently it wasn’t enough for Mayo to abruptly terminate its relationship with Dr. Dennis Spano, among others, in July.
First, they chased away a wonderful family physician who had served the Lake City community with great skill and empathy for over 25 years, leaving his many patients in the lurch. Then, to add insult to injury, they combed their records for any possible charges they could find and billed his patients for services performed long in the past.
