Letter: Expedient versus right
To the editor:
I would like to explain why I voted against locating a new public safety building on 10th Street (or any location for that matter) at this time. The main reason for my vote against the proposed option is that I believe the City Council needs more information.
The feasibility study, while a good step in the right direction, mainly concentrates on the construction costs and financial reason of varying options; utilizing the existing building for police or ambulance, building a new facility, or some combination thereof.
