Letter: Junkers come to enjoy Lake City
To the editor:
The Lake City Chamber of Commerce is grateful to the many businesses that welcomed several thousand people to Washington and Center Streets for Junk Crush last weekend.
Just a few examples include Papa Tronnio’s, who invited customers with a sandwich board sign, “Welcome Junkers! Come in for pizza and chicken!” And many did.
A friendly, “Welcome” and, “We’re glad you’re here in beautiful Lake City” is good for business. It’s good for communities, too.
