Letter: Rose sale a success
To the editor:
Thank you to the Lake City community for supporting the annual Kiwanis Rose Sale. We sold 325 Dozen roses.
Proceeds from this fundraiser go to support projects that benefit children in our area. These include books to preschoolers, dictionaries to 4th graders, and scholarships to graduating seniors.
Special thanks to Carolyn at Lake Pepin Floral and to Joan at Creative Minds for their expertise.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
