Letter: Support Lions’ work by attending banquet
To the editor:
This letter is directed to residents of Lake City and surrounding communities.
We are sure you are aware of a fantastic event which has been sponsored and conducted by the Lake City Lions in September for the past six years. This event was the creation of the late Lyle Sommers, and has been designated as the “Lion Fall Fundraiser.”
For six years those in attendance have enjoyed a great meal prepared on site by Huettl’s, either a prime rib or chicken main dish with a baked potato, vegetable and a dessert.
