Letter: Those who don't remember past success are doomed not to repeat it

To the editor:
Millions of dollars of private funds are pouring into Wabasha to enhance the Eagle Center.
On the other side of Lake City the Villa Maria is being renovated by an investor at considerable cost.
And here we are in Lake City, with a gem of a natural beach, unwilling to even consider anything more than bathrooms.
Maybe if there wasn’t so much resistance to change Lake City might attract investors.
