Letter: Volunteers needed for Flags of Valor
To the editor:
The American Legion Post 110 and Legion Auxiliary are planning their annual patriotic display of American Flags along Hwy 61 North during Waterski Days from June 26 to July 1.
Volunteers are needed to assemble and place flags along the route. If you are able please join us in this honorable activity. We will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26. The assembly area is the lawn along Park St. at the 600 block of north Highway 61. This is the area known as Gold Star Mother’s Park.
