The Old Curmudgeon - 5-19-16

The Old Curmudgeon was very pleasantly surprised last Sunday to see flock of 3-speed bicycles proceeding through Lake City on their way to Red Wing. The hundred or so riders were dressed in period clothing (knickerbockers and flat hats) and enjoying the fresh May air. About a hundred bikers proceeded from Red Wing Saturday morning, pedaled down the Wisconsin side to an overnight in Wabasha, and were on their way back to Red Wing. That route has been in use by the unique group for about 15 years, according to  biker Owen Lloyd who was happy to share the information.
