Park a perfect place for peaceful expression
This is in response to the letter by Darwin Meyers in the edition of April 24. First of all, thank you Darwin for your service to our nation. You served your time when we still had a draft, as did I. I spent six years in the National Guard, and thankfully I did not see any active duty in a combat zone during my service. We both swore to uphold and protect our constitution which protects our rights to religious liberty and freedom of speech, press, and assembly, and petition, all in the First Amendment!
