Pastor Duane Holst retires from ministry

It takes 46 years of ministry to preside at 114 weddings, 213 funerals and 266 baptisms as a called and ordained pastor. Over those years in the ministry and within 9 congregations, Pastor Duane Holst cared for God’s people.
On Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, First Lutheran Church, Lake City celebrated Holst’s service to the Church and thanked him upon his retirement from the ministry.
