Rodney Bartsh - Wabasha County Sheriff (incumbent)
I am running for reelection because I care deeply for our citizens and their safety. Many people know that earlier this year I had announced that I was going to retire. I soon discovered that I had made the decision in haste. After having been your sheriff for 20 years, I realized that I still had the passion to keep being your sheriff in Wabasha county. I then spoke with my chief deputy, Jim Warren. He was in agreement that I should run for sheriff again. Rumors have surfaced of me leaving the office early and not completing my four year term. That is totally untrue and misleading. I am committed for a full 4 years, if reelected.
