Here are some summer heat pet care reminders from your Hiawatha Animal Humane Society.
Please walk your dog during cooler parts of the day, either early morning or late evening.
Always provide fresh, clean water.
Ensure your dog has access to plenty of shade.
Consider providing a paddle pool for them to splash around in.
Please avoid under any circumstances leaving your dog in a parked car.
