Donation, volunteers help upgrade Tiger ‘crow’s nest’
On Sept. 21, minutes before the Lake City Tiger football team took on the Lourdes Eagles, Lake City High School Activities Director Doug Vaith conducted a brief ceremony honoring the people who contributed money, labor, or materials to a major upgrade of the crow’s nest at the athletic field.
The multi-purpose building stands behind the home stands bleachers. The project added 24 feet to the length of the building and brought upgrades and new capabilities to all three levels.
