Girls golf team edges Woodbury for early season win at Mt. Frontenac

The Lake City Tiger girls golf team season finally began with the Mount Frontenac Invitational on April 27.
The Tigers came home with the team title, edging Woodbury out 360-363, followed by Visitation 384, Kasson-Mantorville 401, Byron 413, and East Ridge 424.
“Our depth pulled through for us. The wind played a big factor on Friday, however the girls battled out there and their perseverance paid off!” said Lake City head coach Abby Ebert.
