Lake City Legion out pitches Plainview in 1-0 win

On June 6, Lake City Legion opened up summer league play with a pitching gem hosting Plainview-Elgin-Millville (PEM) at Bill Kieffer Field.  The pitchers for both teams combined to only give up three hits across seven innings, two for Lake City and one for Plainview.  
Josh Matanich opened up the game with a double, advanced to third on an error and then came home on a fielder’s choice which turned out to be the only run Lake City would need for the win.
