Tigers fall to No. 1 ranked KoMets in section finals

It was a showing unmatched by any other varsity volleyball team in Lake City High School history.
The Tigers played in the 1AA Section championship last Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Mayo Civic Arena and took second to No. 1 ranked Kasson-Mantorville (K-M).
Though the Tigers played some of their best ball and gave the KoMets a run for their money, the section title and a first-time trip to state wasn’t in the cards this season.
The KoMets showed their prowess right away scoring the first point of the match off an undefended kill from Wake Forest commit Peyton Suess.
