Tough loss for softball against St. Charles

The Tigers have come up short plenty this season, but some losses hurt more than others.

After a really competitive first four innings by the defenses on both teams, Lake City’s battle against St. Charles became one of those hard-to-swallow losses.

It seemed the Tigers were coming out swinging after Jamee Norlund’s single to center field.

But a double play by the Saints immediately after, said they were ready to battle, too.

The Tigers went to the field and were just as successful, however.
