No filers for two Zumbro Falls council seats
The City of Zumbro Falls is two candidates short of a full ballot for the general election on Nov. 6.
Bruce Heitmann has filed for re-election as Mayor, Council Member Philip Dennison has filed for the open four-year seat, and Jason Faas has filed for treasurer.
That leaves two two-year council seats with no candidates.
City Clerk Susan Eischens said it’s possible someone will mount a write-in campaign. If not, the council may try to appoint people to the open seats.
