Six file for three school board seats

Six people have filed for election to one of three open school board seats in the Nov. 6 general election.

All three incumbents – Dawn Balow, Mike Ohlhaber and Becca Weist – are seeking re-election.

Former school board member Kevin Pavelka is running, as are Kevin Dather, and Thomas Kregel.

The Lake City School Board is an elected body overseeing Lake City Public Schools, including Bluff View Elementary School and Lincoln High School. School board members are elected at-large from the district and serve four-year terms.
