Ruling favors Wabasha County in salary appeal

Wabasha County has prevailed in a salary dispute with Wabasha County Auditor/Treasurer Denise Anderson.

Anderson and County Attorney Karrie Kelly appealed the salaries set for them by the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners last November.

Anderson did not fare so well, with the court upholding her salary and finding that she had failed to show that it was arbitrary, capricious and unreasonable.
