Letter: CP gives to food shelf
To the editor:
In 2014, the Christmas train did not stop in Lake City. We did not receive an answer as to why, but I was able to go online and fill out a request for a donation from them.
Two months ago, I received a call from Canadian Pacific stating that the Lake City Food Shelf would receive a donation of $1,000. We did receive that check and have written a thank you to the organization.
We have also applied for another donation for the year, 2016.
