Remembering beloved son, teacher on his birthday

This week, Sept. 9, 2020, would have been my son Paul Holland’s 58th birthday. Paul was born on a Sunday, the annual Kellogg Watermelon Festival Parade happening. My husband, Victor Holland, parade chairman, was at my side at St Marys Hospital in Rochester. Lloyd Baker, filling in for Victor at the parade, exclaimed along the parade route, “Vic Holland has another boy”, you know him as Paul or “Mr. Holland”.
