The Friends of the Lake City Library met on Dec. 8 at the Railhouse Grill for their annual holiday party.

The Friends of the Lake City Public Library will double the first $2,000 of donations to the library on Give to the Max day.
Money raised will go toward the library renovation. People who donate on that day will be eligible for prizes from the Bush Foundation.

The Friends of the Lake City Public Library will open their new used book store with a grand opening celebration to be held on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 9 a.m. to noon. The bookstore, formerly in City Hall, will now be located in Lake City Public Library.
