Robert Schmidt, Commander of Louis McCahill American Legion Post 110 in Lake City was recently elected as a Vice Commander for the American Legion 1st District and will serve in Area 1 which includes the counties of Olmsted, Wabasha and Winona.

After receiving the fifth seed in the district playoffs, Lake City Legion Post 110 baseball team traveled to 4th seeded Zumbrota-Mazeppa Post 183 for an opening round matchup.
